I have a Cassia Javanica growing on my front yard , she is already about 2 feet tall and about 5 feet wide. I wonder when I will start to see her blooming? How long does it take to mature and have flowers. I know she is still small but I can't wait to see her in full bloom.
I got her about a month ago and she already is twice as big as I purchased her. I'm impressed.

Do you know if it was grown from seed or started from a cutting? Trees like this that are started from seed can often take many years to bloom, but ones from cuttings will often bloom sooner. I don't have personal experiene with this one though--I have one that I've had in a pot for 2 yrs and it hasn't bloomed, but I don't have the ideal conditions for growing it.
I grew my javanica from seed and it bloomed after 4 years. The tree grows very fast in my area (z 11+). It is about 6-7 years old now.
