I have way to many of these seeds! This is the Hardiest plant I have ever grown-even in our drought it has bloomed like crazy-I pull off the seed heads thinking it is done, and I turn around and there is more.
The colors vary some have more red/orange than others-the original name was Dazzler but I after several years it is not the same flower anymore.
If anyone wants to trade-please let me know. I have so much!!

Distantkin, if you have any extra you don't need, I'll take some.. :) Being a new gardener, I don't have much to trade but please look at my trade list.. I notice that you're looking for wisteria. Another DGer just sent me some.. I can split that with you too if you like.. There won't be many to send though...
Also, is there any special instructions for germinating blanket flowers? I got a packet of "goblins" last year and nothing germinated in that packet.. Wonder if I got bum seeds or I did something wrong...
I sure will do the trade with you!! Don't worry about it being a small amount-I still will send you a good amount of the blanket flower. :o) These little beauties are great to share as they are so bright and colorful!
They are easy to grow, I have just through some in a pot and they grew, I also scratched up some hard soil last fall, dropped these there and lightly covered them, after a very cold winter-they came up like crazy!! And they spead all by themselves-next year you will be giving the seeds away as well :o)
I noticed that you have blueberry cuttings as well, have a look at my list and see if we can do a swap for this, I would love a cutting or two of it if you have some :o).

Robbi, I can do the (few) wisteria seeds and blueberries cuttings. I'd like to do the blanket flower and maybe a few of the 'Alcazar' iris? Never had irises before so don't know how that works.. I do leave Sunday though for two weeks. Unless you thing it can get it before Sunday, maybe you can send it out 8/20, if possible?? I can get the seeds and cuttings out before I leave though...

ah... Distantkin, that might be a bit difficult since I travel almost full time. So me waiting to send probably wouldn't make a difference. Cuz if you send 8/20, I get home 8/23. Should get to me 22 or 23. Then I leave 26th again.. So, even if I wait to send it out, I probably won't be home if it was returned. But then it shouldn't be returned. Are you leaving town or something??

LOL.. You are right.. Peggy is getting me all confused.. ROLFLOL.. Okay so it's Peggy that's in the Diary Robin with me.. And you're the one asking for the blueberry cuttings.. LOL.. Okay.. I think I figured out. I will get the blueberry cuttings and the wisteria seeds out before I leave on Sunday..
And I just checked the wisteria seeds, there's 7 of them, 2 big and 5 small. I'll send you one big and 3 small.. Okay...
So, I'll get it out this week and you'll just send 8/20. And everything will be just peachy.. :) Much better than having a confused newbie here.. :)

Lcosden I sent the Goblin Gaillardia seeds in the Dairy Robin box so look for them please, I taped them to the pages that have addresses on them, right by your name. You are not sending me anything at all.
