Passiflora 'Indigo Dreams'

St. Paul, MN(Zone 4b)

Hello All.

I thought I would share a picture of my first P. 'Indigo Dreams' flower. Kyle generously shared a very well-rooted cutting with me last fall (I believe). Since I put it outside in the garden in a 12" clay pot in late May, it has grown from a small plant with a few leaves to a beautiful vine with at least 30 buds developing. The flower is large, like 'Incense', very showy, and lightly but deliciously fragrant. I am thrilled. Thank you again Kyle.

Nice, Erick. I enjoyed this one a lot when I grew her. She bloomed very well for me, too.

Thank you Shirley. Of the dozen or so new Passifloras I tried in the garden this year (all in 12" clay pots), this was the first to bloom. I am very impressed.

Hope you are well.

WOW!!! I think this needs to be added to my I want list.

Such a pretty one. The trouble with them here is that they take over and can cover your house.

Ideally to grow these, you would live where there is enough cold to cause it die back every winter but a long enough season to let it grow well and large.
