Followed this guy around. I've seen hummingbird moths before but I thought it looked different.

That is a type of Hummingbird Moth, yes. Very pretty!

Great shots, Al! That's the same kind of guy I had in my yard a few times! I'd never seen one before and thought it was a big bumble bee, then I saw the proboscis (sp!) nose-thingie and was like, "HUH?" LOL! They're fast!
