Purchased this cute little miniature at HD early summer. About 15" high and 12" wide in a hanging basket. Now in it's second flush of blooms.

It looks like abutilon! I love 'em. Have them in hanging baskets and planted in ground. There are also variegated ones.

Sandi, I have so many plants to bring in this winter and no GH. Can this survive a North Texas winter in the ground or is it tender, too?

Checked out your name in plant files. you are correct and it must be brought inside. And it is not hibiscus.....sure looks similar.

Thanks.

What is the best way to propagate hibiscus,?

I don't think it'll survive being outside up there, but if you cut it way back it should come back in a small pot. There must be some teeny lil' spot in that gh for your new flowering maple! I've rooted plenty of cuttings. Surprisingly easy. It should bloom all summer and into fall. I saved lots of seeds from last year, then didn't do anything with them.

I do not have a greenhouse is my problem. I'll think of something because it really blooms so pretty. thanks
