thank you Snowrose.............can I go back and make that correction? or do I need to turn it in as an error.............i am looking at the tag that Bluebird put on it and it is misspelled..........I will start double checking these names....................

I know what you mean and it is a nuisance but the only way to get things right is to check it against the Master Variety List. Unfortunately, you have to make an error report so it can be changed to the correct spelling. I sympathize.

Snowrose, the person that started the entry can go back and edit the spelling. I do it all the time. I think it says EDIT THIS ENTRY.

For awhile it said who made the initial entries of the plants but I see that is gone now. Too bad, I liked that feature.

Oh good, Kell. That does make it better if the person that started the entry can go back and correct their mistakes by editing. Glad to know that.

I so agree with you that it would be very helpful to know who made the initial entry in Plant Files. Wish it was that way now.

Yet, later, someone can still come along and add erroneous details anonymously like I have seen on some of my entries.

Yes, that is true if the space is not filled out by initiator. I think the problem is too that people copy what some one else has put in under another similar plant. I know I have copied from others, thinking the info was correct. Well maybe hoping the info was correct.
