My Black Krim is finally doing something!
Black Krim Tomato
That's an interesting name for a tomato. Is it going to turn black?
Congratulations Teresa :).......please let us know what you think of the taste.
June, it's supposed to be very dark and sweet. I'll definitely post a pic of it when it's ready to eat! It's my first year for the Black Krim.
Hi Theresa. I don't think I have ever grown Black Krim either. I have grwon a few of the "black" maters and this year I think I just have Black Russian, but wonder if I'll see anything ripe this year. Total neglect for veggies this year.
Are these the only tomatoes you are growing? Are they isolated enough from other tomatoes to get true seeds from them? Doesn't look like it will be long before you eat that one.
I am also growing BC Hothouse tomatoes.
A couple of the Krims are almost ready to try. I'll be saving seeds from both of the tomatoes.
That's a beauty Teresa. Yummers. Bet it would also get a lot of oohs and ahhs in the tomato forum. :)

Drooling over here with tomato-envy.
Have yet to pick my first ripe tomato off my own plants...
Beauty!

I'll definitely be saving these from this puppy! ;-)
I have been looking at the Black Krim seed to try. How did yours do overall and how is the flavor? I like the 'different' kinds of stuff.

Peggy, I love to try new things too. The Black Krims are great. Very meaty and sweet. Can't beat that combination. ;-)
Well now I will have to give them a try next year. Thanks for the info.

That's a beauty, Teresa! I love the colour. It looks like a good size as well. Well done!
I can almost taste it:) Looks great they have been on my list of interesting things and now I have to give them a try. You have inspired us all:)
