Wow! I am so proud of her, she did a splendid job, and had a really nice crowd of about 50 people came to see and learn.
It was all very professional, and many people wanted to know how to get started on butterflies.
Sheila, Anna and me were there to cheer her on.
Here she is talking away.

WTG Deb!!!!!! That's quite a crowd!!!
That's wonderful! Just think how many butterflies may now be saved from Deb's educational program! All it takes is some guidance. I surely never thought I could raise them but through y'alls pep talks on this forum, there's some bfs living today because of it.
That's right we have to spread the word as much as we can.
Awesome job, Deb! I knew you'd be terrific to do such an amazing presentation! You're spreading the word and enlightening folks! Trust me, there will be more and more butterfly enthusiasts because of you! And who knows .... maybe some will come join us on the Butterfly forum here on DG! You go girl!!!
You bet, we tried to recruit a few today.
WOW!!! Great going ya'll!!! So glad everyone is able to get together and teach others about butterflies.
Wish I'd had someone tell about all that I know now back when I was a kid. I probably would have majored in science instead of law enforcement :o) Oh welll, am catching up now!!! Anytime I talk to someone about butterflies and caterpillars I give them links to websites and our forums too.
Congrats again!!! Am positive Deb did an excellent job and the rest of ya'll were there to root her on. Keep up the fantastic work.

Yea!!!! Deb I told you, you would do great. I am happy to see a child in attandence too. Hope it made a lasting impression on her
Way to go, Deb (and thanks for sharing the photos, Josephine). When will you do a presentation on my side of town? ;-)
Carla
Gosh, I wish someone could have videoed it and put it on Dave's video site. I know lots of us would really benefit from hearing and seeing Deb's presentation!
That would have been great, but it might have been a little too long, it lasted two hours. She can talk up a storm.
Josephine.
I wish I could have been a fly on the wall! Is Green Mama's a nursery or a cafe?
It is a nursery, funny name isin't it? Very nice nursery though, they are all organic.
Looks like a wonderful presentation and great day out for everyone! I bet it was both fun and fulfilling to take on such a task! Congratulations!
Thanks for the neat pics, too! I am really sorry I couldn't be there but the pics were the next best thing!
G Whiz and Thanks everyone! Wish all of you could have been there in person. At least you were there in your pics you let me use, and your well wishes. That helped so much. DH bought me a very nice projector that hooks up to my laptop, which was amazing.
Right Deborah! There are more butterflies in GA now bc of what you've accomplished this year!
I don't know Carla, Do you have a particular place in mind?
Me too Donna.. there were a few children there. I would like to do this at the Library & all the schools around here.
Hear ya Cat.. Had no ideer that you were in Law inforcement. I have extended family who are also. Bet it's extra nice to come home and commune with the bflies.
Thx Judy and Roxanne.. When you love the subject... well, even a cave-gardener could do it.
I will probably be going back to Green Mama's on a regular basis.
I can't thank you guys enough for all the encouragment!
There's no place like DG!
Hugamatics!
