Weight Loss Challange Aug. 4th - 11th

I got a shock a bit ago. The phone rang, I answered expecting it to be my oldest DD returning my call. Instead there is a name on the caller ID that I have never heard of & then I hear this angry voice saying "This is it, I've called the sheriff, I won't put up with this any more". I said "What!? Who is this?" It turned out to be the woman from our church who has just moved into an assisted living facility and has found out someone in the family has gotten into her home and taken things. Neither of us knows where that name came from but it sure threw me for a loop for a couple minutes. LOL.

The scales were NOT kind this morning & I know it has to be one of my new meds causing water retention. My face & abdomen look swollen compared to a couple days ago. Tho something caused a very good colonic clean out yesterday. I have no idea what. I'll attempt to do mostly the Hollywood juice thing most of today.

I need to get going, I debated on whether or not to go to town today(I really don't feel like going)but Shirley(the woman from church) needs to get to the sheriff's office and sign papers and we need to get to her home and see just what all is missing. I'll take a camera and get pictures of what is left. She didn't leave a key as a DIL had wanted, but the DIL said the door was unlocked. A neighbor had helped Shirley the last day she was there and made sure everything was locked up tight so someone else has a key. We may need to get someone to change locks quickly. Much of what is in there may not be worth anything to most people, but it means a lot to Shirley. I'm going to keep some items for her if we can get them moved out here. Getting them moved before they are stolen is the big issue right now.
