thanks Josephine - I think the Giant is my favorite. My DH thinks I'm nuts as I dropped everything running in to the house to get my camera - he thought something must be wrong....

You have good reason to be excited, they are beautiful. We don't have the Zebras here, but lots of Giant and Tiger.

Nah .... looks like a female Eastern Black Swallowtail to me. But I have been known to be wrong. lol

I just started my garden 3 years ago - was always going to buy a bigger house, but then decided to stay put - so I started the garden and this is the first year to get so many butterflies - it is such a pleasure.
