Dog / Cat reppelent?

I've been having mayor issues with my neighbors dogs.
They are using my yard as a public bathroom. My kids play on they yard all the time and the least thing we want is to find poo on the yard. So I wonder if there is a good repellent for dogs?
We don't have a fence yet so we need to stick with some other alternative meanwhile.
