Gordon, its a Duranta and I think 'geisha girl'. Very easy to start from cuttings, too. Loves full sun

I love this bush; it gets lovely golden berries after the purple blooms and is also known as 'Golden Dewdrop'.

East Texas, United States(Zone 8a)

some people grow it as a large shrub but it is easily trained as a standard. I have a little blue one and a little white one, both being trained as trees.

lovely plant.

neat .. thanks all...
It was a supermarket plant here at 4' ... and it came without a tag... as a gift to me... I'm now able to care for it..
Thanks... ya'll are the best... ... if it's alive... someone here.. has it ..had it... killed it.. or got it to flourish... and knows lots of it's names... and often has an interesting story to tell of it... or themselves with it... what a hoot.... Gordon
