Fabulous photo!
I've never grow these. How much pruning do they require? What do they need to look this good? Are they similar in care to Ceanothus - let them be once established?
I would love to use these. Is this the 'Lynn's Legacy' variety?
Thank you,

It took me 4 hours on the phone to finally locate a source for these. I'm so eager to get them planted in the Spring of this next year. I saw a variety that travelled and put up suckers. I hope this one doesn't. This is one plant that I want it to stay put where I plant it - as a hedge outside my fence. Eventuially, it will cover the fence and provide the privacy that I want. I've done this before with other Texas Sage. I'm very eager to try it with this variety, too. Thx for showing your pics on it.

PeriopRx,

Your sage is beautiful! How old is the pictured Lynn's Legacy Sage? How have you pruned it since planting, if at all? I am aware that Texas Sage varieties prefer not to be pruned, however, I am unclear on what pruning, if any, the most beautifully shaped sages have received.

The pictured sage is exactly the form I am looking to add into my completely re-hauled front landscape. I am also interested in the Chihuahuan variety for the same reason: the spiky tendency. Again, I have no idea what pruning has been done to the varieties I so love. I would like to know if the pictured sage is in its completely natural, untended form or if it has been helped along with specified pruning.

Would you please share what you have done to the pictured sage (even the most minute of details) so that I may better understand what variety to select and how to achieve such beautiful form.

Thank you so much for your time and any support you may offer.

Best,
Ali
