Concerned owner or neurotic basketcase, you decide...

So, I noticed when I got home last night that Alee was breathing pretty rapidly. It was pretty darn hot (90's) all day, high humidity, etc. I figured she was overheated and wet her down and scraped the water off. Afterwards she seemed fine, went to graze, etc. Ate dinner, no prob.

This morning, same thing. Couldn't have been more than 80 although still really humid. Rapid breathing, flaring nostrils. Took her temp - well, tried. She wasn't going for the rectal thing, so went a little lower.... anyway. 98.8 . Respirations at about 24-30 (Normal is 12-20.) Good gut sounds. Eating... like a horse. I moved her and Stormy over to a shadier pasture, but she's much more interested in the grass than the shade. ????

Does this sound like anything to you guys? I wormed her day before last, upped her mare 'n foal by 1/2 a cup, but that's the only changes she's really had. None of the other horses seem to be breathing as fast or hard. Tried to mix up some Gatorade and electrolyte recipe as advised by a nutrition book, but no interest in that whatsoever.

Holp!
