EEs and sun

Grantsboro, NC(Zone 8b)

Is there a list of which are shade lovers and which are full sun lovers any where on the web?

Lavina

South West, LA(Zone 9a)

If there is I would love to see it!!

Poughkeepsie, NY(Zone 6a)

I've heard Alocasia Macrorrhiza likes full sun but I think the key to full Sun is to make sure they get plenty of water.

Read this site:

Powder Springs, GA(Zone 7b)

If you keep them watered well they should thrive in full sun.

I would venture to say all colocasias can grow in full sun. Caladiums and fancy leaf Alocasias are the ones that don't usually like it in full sun and usually get burnt leaves due to it. But of course this is full sun in KY not Florida or Arizona.

The largest leaves I usually get on colocasias are the ones grown in part sun that stay moist and humid. The larger alocasias do seem to take more sun easier.
