Can you please vote for one of my past fosters, Big Kitty. This guy has endured more than any animal should have in his short life and it breaks my heart. Big came from a house that had 20 plus cats with one cat box and 60 plus dogs, the dogs never went outside either. From the get go Big Kitty was nothing but a big ball of love, all 15lbs of him. After getting him healthy he was adopted out to the most wonderful couple and all was going well until the pet food recall.
Big Kitty was one of the unlucky ones and he was eating tainted food. He ended up with full blown kidney failure and was hospitilized for almost 2 weeks. He pulled through but ended up with kidney stones and had to be operated on. Once again he came out like a champ and recovered without problems. Since his operation he has had some more issues with crystals in his urine and a few more vet stays but he seems to be well once again.
The owners vet bills were in excess of thousands of dollars but they paid them without a second thought. They are the most wonderful people!!
Today I just received a email from the owner and she told me that IAMS has paid all of her vet bills! **WOOOHOOOOO**** I'm so happy for them. She also sent me a link for a contest she has entered. It would be wonderful for them to win so if you don't mind to vote Big Kitty would be so thankful.
