I love this forum. Happy full moon -- and on the full moon, it's best to just sit back and enjoy your garden! That's what I call a holiday.
Happy Full Moon, Everyone!
Yes indeed! That glorious spectacle just needs to be savored and enjoyed! Hope everyone has clear skies to do just that!
For once I was glad my puppy needed to go out at 3 a.m.! The full Moon was beautiful and the night serene -- "sigh" -- just lovely.
We've had so much rain lately I hadn't seen the moon in a while, but last night -- OH so beautiful!!! Couldn't see any stars as it was that humid, but the moon was lovely down here.
it was a gorgeous moon last night. It popped into view just over the pine trees -- and with all the stars -- what a fantastic view.
It was spectacular here in Ohio at 2:30 am too... ;-)
It's nice to think, when I look at the moon, that my DG buddies are all under the same moonlight. :)
Now that statement makes me smile big time, Brigidlily!!! How true!
And as a new DG-er, that statement makes me feel I am in the midst of warm, friendly people!
That you are Lucia.... and Welcome to Dave's....
The best garden site on the Web...We are all like Family here....
Indeed we are! Welcome, Lucia!
Welcome to DG from the island contingent!
Welcome Lucia, one big happy family here
Thanks for all the welcomes! I stumbled upon DG completely by chance and I'm so glad I did. Love this forum and am thoroughly enjoying lots of others as well and have learned so much. Only trouble is -- now I am completely addicted!
SO???? Why should you be any different than the rest of us??
We are all addicted....ROFLLLLLLL
And No....There is no cure... ;-)

Islandshari - lol!!!
And, Brigidlily, you are absolutely right!
Sometimes I feel I spend more time on DG reading about gardening than, well, gardening! But since in this heat I can really only be outside early morning/late evening. . .what's a girl to do the rest of the day??!! I know, work, clean house, pay bills, do laundry, tend to husband/pets, etc. But all of that really gets in the way of my forum-hopping!
LOL - I resemble that remark!!
I'll have you know I Created that remark... ROFLLLL But then again I am older than dirt.... LOL.... 'Bout the Only thing out of what Lucia said is, I tend to my dawgs... only because they can't open the mouseproof container their food is in...ROFLLLL... Hubby can fend for himself...
We had a lovely moon last night...it was so bringht that I could see a coyote walking around in the open land.
Bridig....I'll bet you could count your gourds on the vine. Jo
I agree that tending to the pets is really not a chore -- my little black cat and new Doberman puppy more often than not take priority over anything else. As for my husband. . .the other morning he asked me where we kept the toaster -- the TOASTER. . .aargh!! We have been in this house almost a year and he still doesn't know where the toaster is??!! I know he travels a lot but honestly! Of course I was probably on DG at the time and resented the interruption ha. So much for him fending for himself. We had a good laugh over it, and decided that I tend to "the girls" more so than I tend to him -- he feels very low in the pecking order! Thankfully he is a very good sport. Actually, sometimes think he misses Isobel the cat and Jetta the puppy more than me when he goes away. Hmm. . .that thought sort of hurts my feelings. Might have to buy some plants or garden decor to cheer myself up. . .
