New Blooms in Flood Swamp :)

Palm Bay, FL(Zone 9b)

I went outside and was completely shocked! I had flowers. Even my pond soaked hibs are blooming. Today is a miracle :)

Here's Wallflower, making her appearance for the first time....

I'm so glad for you! I bet all these blooms DO look like a miracle after your flooding :-) Great pics, and I just love Wallflower!

Nice wallflower pics!!! **DROOLOING** ;-)~~

Pretty pictures. I'm betting it's a lot more fun looking at blooms than water at this point.

Beautiful flowers!

Boy, you really got soaked. I am in Jacksonville this week and although they have had rain it was nothing like you got.

Well, bless them for hanging in there... just beautiful.... well, honestly, I'm just not too crazy bout Wallflower..... it reminds me of Gerber Babyfood, strained peas.... It's just not pink or red, I guess. It looks like it's holding up well with all your moisture. It really is pretty, just first glance it reminded me of strained peas.. lol Thanks for letting us see. -B

My initial reaction was the same as yours, lol.
However, by night time, Wallflower was an extremely deep and intense olive. It was magnificent!
No new blooms today, but lots of buds :)

Since I decided no more outside plants till I have the money to take care of future flooding, I decided to start putting plants in my patio.

Unfortunately, that meant buying more plants, lol!

LOL, you think like I do!!!

Cat, what a shame you HAVE to buy more plants, lol!! I just hate it when that happens ;-)

LOL, AuntB! I love Wallflower. It's so different!
Cat, where did you find Wallflower at? Did you grow her from seeds? I would love to purchase one like her. You've got some beautiful hibiscus pics. Thanks for sharing them with us.

I got wallflower from
www.fancyhibiscus.com
But I think David may still have some at Touch of the Tropics

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Looks like they can take a lot more water than a lot of other plants. I am so glad they are blooming for you!
