Paula Dean I used to think

that she was just about the best southern big-time calorie cooker out there. And I always modified her recipes to minimize all the fat she used.
But in recent weeks, she has been twisted and embarassed by the folks who rule her program. Rather than present a simple program where she just offers good and easy to follow recipes, she has been expanded to include a stupid gallery audience, along with PR ca-ca, including outside idiots, (including, believe it or not, a foursome of muscled morons carrying in a pallet of 200 pounds of butter). They've convinced her that she has to use the word "y'all" every other word. It smells bad, and it turns me away from that channel.
I'm afraid that she has lost my confidence and following. Much like that no-neck idiot Emeril, who can't survive without a 5 piece band in the background. ("And what we're gonna do is this", ad nauseum) What a blooming moron.
The only one left who is worth a hoot is Rachel, if she would just learn to keep her hands in her pockets. Should try not waving them around so much. Her mouth and facial expressions are plenty. Such a pretty girl. And they should try not to televise her backside. It is as wide as her stove.
I don't know about you, but I am impressed with straight forward recipes, offered without a bunch of stupid frills. It is thoroughly depressing to see a good cooking program turned into a phony semi-soap opera.
Is anybody P.O.'d? If so, why?
