Help!! with my edaname plants (Soybeans)

Mount Crawford, VA

Hi, we love soybeans and I grow them every year. I normally have my saved seed that I save from year to year but this year those didn't come up. The kind I grow, you put them in the ground and they're not ready till september, then we pull the plants and strip the beans off, put them in boiling water, cold water, then snap out the beans. DELICIOUS!!!!
This year however, I am experimenting with other different kinds and they act totally different. The pods are already full, and about ready to pick. I know they aren't going to wait till September. They must mature lots earlier. The kinds are Black Pearl soybean, and Butterbean soybean. Do I pull the plants like I normally do with soys, or do I just pick off the pods and more will come. PLease, I hope that someone has had some experience with these kinds and know exactly what to do. I hope they taste as good as my old heirloom ones!

Butterbean soybeans are tasty and should be ready around 90 days. I pull the whole plant - they mature all at once like the other varieties. Black Pearl is supposed to be around 70 days - again pull the whole plant when most if not all the pods are full.

Then boil accordingly and taste test them for me!! YUM.
