Does this look familiar to anyone? The leaves have the same texture/feel as an EE but there is no bulb.

philodendron?

Could be, but the leaves are very thin, more like that of an Alocasia or Colocasia.

Maybe Xanthosoma? Brian where are you?

I am positive it is a Schismataglottis I think it is species trivitata. Their are tons of forms and species in this group tons of them look very similar but all different LOL.

Thanks Brian! I'll do some googling and see what I come up with. I have no idea how to care for it. Would you suggest shade/high humidity? Seems the logical way to go.

Yes these are usually found in parts of asia. Most grow in deep to part shade and most are sensitive to cold. It would be a bit like growing some of the dwarf alocasias like Amazonica or similar. They like to be soaked then allowed to dry out. From what I remember they seem to produce pups easily.

Thanks again Brian! hope I can do it justice!
