My ailing cat and Marcus Vick

My cat has survived a diabetes diagnosis for at least two and a half years.
Along the way, she has vomited hundreds of times, urinated on the carpet repeatedly, missed the litter box, etc. But she was OK up until now. Now she is sleeping under an end table and finding dark places to sleep. She is off her food and would barely eat salmon from the can tonight. She had very runny bowels today. Is there anything I can give her for that?

Surrey County is not that far from here so Marcus Vick's indictment in downtown Richmond was in the news. Unfortunately, VA Tech has a hall named after him. I could have wretched when I read what they did to dogs that didn't measure up in training or in the fights. We had a big case in Richmond, and the man who went to court insisted he had the right to do what he wanted to with his dogs. He thought they would give them back!

I have a feeling that he won't play again because of public outcry. After all, it's not just football fans but a good portion of the American population that is outraged. Animal lovers will not let the owners of the team forget.
