Peanut allergy

Cleveland, OH(Zone 5b)

Does anyone have any experience with this? My GD (age 2) was just tested and found "highly allergic" to peanuts. I saw the welt from the test myself. BUT.......she has had, on occasion, Reese's Peanutbutter Blizzards from Dairy Queen, fed to her by her father (as a small treat) with no ill effects whatsoever.
The main reason for having her tested was a severe reaction she had to Orville Redenbacher's Kettle Microwave popcorn. (approx 10 pieces) BUT..... She has, in the past, had some regular microwave popcorn with no ill effects. The Allergist said that the popcorn must have been cross contaminated either at the factory or at home with some form of peanut.
Should we ask for a second opinion?
