San Bernardino, CA(Zone 8b)

Well, Kyle says that DuPont will have them in stock in a few weeks. Their website is www.dupontnursery.com. We'll have to keep our eyes out and keep checking :-)

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Another true beauty. I am already thinking of spring to get some of these.

I WANT BON TEMPS, TOO!!!! AMEN TO THAT!!! That is one FINE plant!

aloha. beautiful

San Bernardino, CA(Zone 8b)

Sue, I think those cultivars are also available from DuPont...

Nederland, TX

Just to let you know I got my Bon Temp and Cosmic Dancer from www.Hypnoticblooms.com they are local here but I think that they ship now. I found them through Dupont Nursery. The Plants are beautiful. I am not sure if they have the Cajun Cocktail though. I get gallons from them. When I went to Dupont I could only order 4" Pots and I wanted the gallons and they referred me to them. Perfect for me because they are right down the road and I never knew it. LOL

Sweethoney, Hypnotic Blooms is our very own Robert (pizonne, I'm sorry if I spelled it wrong).

Nederland, TX

WOW ...SMALL WORLD.......I've gotten some beautiful plants from there.....We joke around and say that I adopted them from him, because he personally takes care of each of these plants like babies.....

Nederland, TX

This is one of my favorites....

I can see why, that's GORGEOUS :-)

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Really, I will take 2 of those Sweeternhoney11. You got that from Robert?

Sue, Armstrong carries Bon Temps in 3 gallon pots, big ones. But you have to get them as they come in.

Nederland, TX(Zone 9a)

Hi Gina,

Good to see you here! Beautiful PIC of your Pele's Fountain. Glad to see the adoption is going well. If you ever decide you are tired of it I'll be more than happy to bring it back home to me. LOL

I think it is so great that this is such a small world :)
Looking forward to my new babies :)

Alvin, TX(Zone 9a)

Wow, what a small world! Maybe I'll have my husband hop on over to Nederland to get me some of your plants!!

Nederland, TX(Zone 9a)

Hi Amanda,

That would be fine, just give me a call. I am going to be at Winnie Trade Days Aug 10,11,12 with about 250 or so. I am not sure how far you are from there.

Alvin, TX(Zone 9a)

AWESOME! Where is Winnie Trade Days?

Alvin, TX(Zone 9a)

Also, will you have any Night Runner and Bon Temps?

Alvin, TX(Zone 9a)

Sweeternhoney - what kind is that last one you posted?

Nederland, TX(Zone 9a)

Hi Amanda,

It is in Winnie Texas. I usually go through here to get to Galveston or the other beaches. Also, I will have the Bon Temp but the Night Runner is not available. I wish it was only because I want another one. LOL.

P.S. Sweeternhoney has a Pele's Fountain posted

Robert

Alvin, TX(Zone 9a)

Well Robert, you're breaking my heart! But I've been trying to get Bon Temps for a while a t a good size so I'll definitely be there. Everyone seems to sell out quick!

San Bernardino, CA(Zone 8b)

Amanda, if Robert is out, Charles at HVH had a whole lot of them (my mom bought a gorgeous blooming one), and I think they're available on his website too www.hiddenvalleyhibiscus.com

I really want a Nightrunner though - I'm gonna watch the DuPont site.

Alvin, TX(Zone 9a)

Yeah - would you let me know when you find one available? I'd like one, too!

Doesn't DuPont only sell 4 inch pots? How big are the hibiscus in those pots? I would imagine they are pretty tiny. And do they grow fast at this size or no? How much are they?

San Bernardino, CA(Zone 8b)

I think they are $10 each and they are standard 4" plants, usually - in a 4" pot, about 6-10" tall. Mine have grown pretty quickly. I can't remember their shipping charge, but I remember it seemed quite reasonable. The only thing is that you have to order 6 plants at a time, which is pretty easy to do ;-) Here's their website www.dupontnursery.com

Careful, you'll want them all, lol ;-)

Alvin, TX(Zone 9a)

Ha ha, no kidding! Thanks!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Bon Temps has been a pretty good bloomer for me. But only 1 day did the bloom lay flat.

Hey Kell,
When I talked to Mr Dupont (Bobby) about the Bon Temps he said that this is a charastic of the hybrid and rarely ever opens fully, Or is not supposed to open fully. (Stays Coned) It was on my last trip july 24th.
