I'm tagging along with my husband who is attending a conference. We're going to a town on the coast called Recife. On the off chance there was a botanical garden I asked my husband to inquire. "Yes," they said, "but the program books up fast. Since all the programs are in Portuguese, let us know if you would like us to arrange for an interpreter." I told my husband not to cheap out- I'd probably never get back to Brazil. So, it's a 4 hour program, my own guide/interpreter and air-conditioned car... $100! How can you beat it?! I'm so excited. It's the dead of winter there- so it's only 80F. :) I have my camera charged up and ready to go, I hope to have lots of cool pictures to share with you all.
And I just received the letter that I was accepted into the Master Gardener program, so I'm having a good garden week!!! Happy, happy, joy, joy.
