extreme hot/dry weather bean type?

Kernville, CA

Hi'
My beans are blossoming, but no pods. My book says they will do that in hot weather. My temps frequently get over 100 degrees during July and August, with desert-like dryness. Do you know a type of green bean that will do well in this extreme?

You can grow "southern peas": crowder, zipper, cream etc. They really like those conditions!

Yard long asian beans like it hot, too. Green beans and wax beans are a fall crops here in the High Desert.

Thank you both for the information.
