Hi,, when it first opens, it is a pale yellow,, then as it matures it has a faint pink tinge around it. Here is a later picture..

Here is a picture of Amber Rose, taken in Sept. of 2002. Sorry about the quality of the picture and the background. She really does turn an amber color, at least under the conditions I grew her in.
