need info on canine autoimmune disease

My dog was just diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. It was found by the vet doing a biopsy on the lump that is growing fast on his eyeball. The lab result just came back, and the vet will talk with me later today. But I am curious and like to get all the information I can, so any input is appreciated.
