Serendipidy has a wider fatter corolla than the bloom you have pictured. It is also more bell shaped than the bloom you show here. Color varies widely, being determine by many factors so you should never try to identify a brug with depth of color from a comparative photo.
Here are my Serendipity blooms from this spring.
Even if it ends up being something else, it's pretty and I like the way the tendrils curl back and around.

I guess nearly all my brugs are unknown now. Even the ones that were tagged have mostly turned out to look like something else. I have at least 50 left after giving away about 20 or so to relatives... out of those 50 I bet there are only about a dozen that I know for sure what they are, even though most of the rest were tagged when received...
And all were given to me or traded to me by other DG-ers except the one that I thought was 'Serendipity.' It was given to my husband by a work buddy.
