Fayette, MO(Zone 6a)

All you farmers must be trying to stay cool. maybe a little late to start journal but here goes.
renter called. a geinea hatched out 13 babies in the garden. I went down to see them. adorable.
Hot is still the biggest news here. My heifer stood and let me swat 15 horse flies off her back without a flinch. She looked at me appreciatively. It is suppose to cool off the rest of the week. I am anxious for that.
My puppy setting is going well. My bosses' puppy. I thought I might teach it everything like, if I said fetch he would set, and if I said rollover he would fetch. Ok, I like the puppy and the boss a little too much for that. but it would be pretty funny huh? I am a big practical joker.
Keep Cool.
