I found this fuzzy cat this morning in the petunias and sweet potato plants around my mailbox. Anybody know what it is and what it may yet be? I had to go out to do a Meals on Wheels run, and by the time I got back, he was gone, alas. He was VERY pretty, probably about 1 3/4 inches long.
That looks like a Giant Leopard Moth cat, too bad you didn't find it...that would have been a cool cat to raise....the moths are very pretty.
omigoodness Fly, you are GOOD!!!!! I looked him up on the internet and found pictures, and you're right, that's what he is!!!! I would LOVE to see the moth, what a beautiful creature!! But touching the cat I guess you can get a skin irritation, so I'm glad I didn't try!! I'm going to go back out and see if I can spot him again.... Thanks for your help!!!
