Time for Magic

San Bernardino, CA(Zone 8b)

This pic is from the second set of blooms on Time for Magic. The first round were a bit malformed after months of plant growth and bud drop. This round of blooms has been much prettier. The color on this cultivar is really unique - people who aren't fond of the browns/greens probably won't like it so much. My mom called it "the color of baby poo". Oh well, thank goodness beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Don't look at the ugly little aphids on the bud behind the blooms. This picture made me run to HD today for some Bayer Rose & Flower :-( Those aphids are SUCH nasty little buggers...

Here's cultivar Irene Collins, a pretty orange/yellow double. This one was supposed to be Haute Coutre, but was mislabeled too. I don't mind though, I'm quite happy with this lovely bloom :-)

I think Irene Collins is wonderful. TIme for Magic is an acquired taste I suspect.

Like my mom says, "you just go for anything that is 'weird'", lol. I must admit that she is right ;-)

Fluffy little thing, isn't she? Pretty.

There is a rose the same color, Karen. I am trying to think of its name. It hasn't grown on me yet. LOL

But your pictutre of it is stunning. And your Irene Collins is so different too. I like them both!!
