This was open yesterday.A nice surprise that it wasn't a smaller flower. 7 1/2 inch bloom. A cross of Carolina breeze X Aztec Sun

That's a beauty Kyle, does Aztec Sun have a larger flower? Carolina Breeze is pretty small normally isn't it?

carolina is a small flower, aztec sun is huge 9+inches most times.So this baby got the size of aztec sun and the orange of Carolina breeze. so far all seedlings I have used Aztec Sun with throw red distinct eyes.

Another sibling seedling, same cross, definately different in color.Has the waffled edge of Aztec Sun the daddy.

Ouch...I just had a stabbing pain in my chest when I saw this one. Wowzer....that is a beauty.

Brugie, its a good example of crossing hibs. One seed pod can throw endless color and marking combinations.Or the other extreme, they all look very similar. I like the first option. :-)
