Charotte's Web in the 21st century

Gladwin, MI(Zone 5a)

As I was out walking this morning. I spotted what looked to be a computer disc hanging from a tree.
Upon closer inspection, there was a tiny spider making this web that was the exact same size as a cd. The sun was shinning thru the fine threads and it was an amazing sight to behold.
I knew it would be hard to take a picture, and the pictures do not show how perfectly this looked like a cd, but I tried anyway.
It is kind of a funny story, if you don't care to know it, skip now to picture two.

I walked back to the house and grabbed the camera and a spritzer of water.
After returning to the web, I took a couple pictures, spritzed with water and took a couple more.
The first pictures were too close and just looked like....well, a web. The later pictures misted, showed up better but lost all quality of fineness of the web.
I needed to dry the web again and start over.
(my mind works pretty quick yet)
I invisioned myself going back to the house, getting a hair dryer, a generator and the quad and coming back for the better picture. This morphed into a neighbor spotting me and asking why I would need a hair dryer in the woods.
Having no good answer, I would have to tell the truth. This would involve, I am sure, phone calls and "nice young men in their clean white coats"
Soooo, instead, you get bad out of focus pictures.

Here it is after misting, which lost all fineness, but you get the idea. Wish the pictures were better, sorry.
So, what in on this CD? Welome to my "web"?
Maybe bug sounds, to invite some to dinner at Charlotte's web site?

Hi cpartschick,

Where's the 2nd pic? I does look like a CD in the first one - I can imagine what it looked like from afar, with the sun shining on it. LOL, that's funny what you said about the hairdryer and men in white coats. All my neighbors know I'm nuts, heh. The ones that are also nuts, speak to me. The others stay far away, don't talk to me, and avoid eye contact, LOL! Doesn't bother me, I'm not a people person, anyway - I prefer the animals. ;D

Thought I put it there. What a marrroooon, (as Bugs Bunny would say)
Hope this is the right picture.

Ah ha, there it is. Though, I think it looks more like a CD in the first pic.

Me too. I guess it is one of those..."you had to be there" or "you have to be a bit of a goof"

Quoting:
you have to be a bit of a goof

LOL! Well, I'm more than a bit of a goof, hehe. ;P
