plantladylin that is the one and the same granddaughter. Her birthday was the 19th, she is officially a teenager now, so all of the family's going to Red Lobster for lunch today! Tami there's not going to be Red Velvet Cake this year, it's coming from Costco instead:-).

Have a Wonderful time! I gotta admit .... with all the Seafood down here in Florida, Red Lobster is still one of our favorite places to eat!! I get the same thing every time .... always have - Fried Shrimp and I have them sub the Pina Colada sauce instead of coctail or tartar sauce! Wonderful! Hubby always gets some kind of grilled fish.
Congrat's to your Granddaughter! .... aaaah a Teenager, I remember how exciting that 13th Birthday was!

Don't feel too bad about the red velvet cake, Awanda, I had a piece for you yesterday AND the day before, and I believe there is enough left for me to eat 2 pieces per day for the next week. Depending on the size of the pieces. (oink oink) We buy them from the local Amish Market, though I think they are actually made by Menonites in Lancaster, PA. I have never heard anyone mention a red velvet cake before, outside of this area. They certainly are good!
Red Velvet cakes are my favorite, also my granddaughters. We usually only make them around Thanksgiving and Christmas.
