Painted Bunting

Seabrook, SC(Zone 8b)

This little guy flew into our neighbor's glass door while we were standing on their porch chatting. My husband picked him up and held him for a while, and then when we walked home we placed him on the tool box of our pick-up truck and sat on our porch for a bit to see what he would do. He was obviously dazed and confused, but he eventually collected his thoughts and flew away.
