Vodoo Doll First Look

This is the 1st time she has bloomed. The bloom is supposed to stay crinkled as well as the leaves. When I bought it i thought it was severly sick and would have to nurse it back to health the way the leaves looked. lol

Very cool! You're so lucky to have a nursery, like Kell said on another thread, it must be a dream job!! That's what I want to do when I win the lotto, in addition to moving somewhere a little cooler :-)

Hi Karen,

I ran across this one at the Lafayette hibiscus show. There were a few there and everyone was passing them up because the foliage was sickly and wrinkled looking, not knowing that this was a characteristic of the plant. I almost left it there too but decided to take a chance. I'm glad I did.
