I have one of these, too, Nadene!! Very cool, alocs, right? Mine's growing really well in about 90% bright shade. It's been in the ground several months (maybe 4 or 5, actually) and has gotten about 4' high, with the leaves getting well over a foot wide (maybe closer to 2 feet). I don't know how large they get, but mine seem to keep getting bigger. I have a feeling it's about to top out, though.

COOL!! Carter, I am putting mine in a bigger pot and then putting it in the ground so when winter comes..I am taking that baby out and put in hothouse..

Oh my goodness! I didn't know there was such a "creature"! VERY cool! I need one! lol, When I first saw it, I thought it looked like a sick EE, but I looked closer....... now I want one! Fits in with my "coastal"/tropical theme....Where's everyone seeing them for sale?
