Black tip fungus

East Texas, United States(Zone 8a)

yikes! one of my pretties is suffering from this. I found in the FAQ sticky to cut it off. But being that we're experiencing a lot of rain in my area, wouldn't the fresh cut be even more susceptible? what to do, then? I have never had this before.

Nery, I've had it this year too. With certain cultivars, it is unavoidable. The sun will dry up the black tip and new branches will form beneath it, or you can cut the tip off, and new branches will form beneath the cut. The fresh cut won't get back tip.

Clare coming to my rescue, as always. Gracias. Danke.
