I have a Ronde de Nice Squash out there that matured virtually overnight. In fact, it looks perfect for picking, but I'm leaving for a 4 day trip in the morning. Normally I'd leave it on the vine, but after the growth spurt it had in the past 24 hours, I'm thinking it might get over ripe/over grown and be woody.
What would you do?
dilemma
Sequee, I'd come over and eat it for you but unfortunately I'm out of town too.. :)
LOL! Not EXACTLY the answer I had in mind! (But thnx for the chuckle!)
Sequee.. No problem.. always ready to help out with veggies.. :) **rabbit sniffing around**
Uh-oh! Do you know about the address exchange??? Eeeeeeeek!
ROFL. Yes I doo... :) ROFL. Once you find my place, you're gonna want to come over for strawberries.. (plants still small)
Have not grown that one, but the similar Tonda di Nizza. Like all zukes they go from zero to sixty overnight. Four days is usually too much even from babies.
