Farmers Almanac or WItches Almanac? My grandmother kept a close eye on the moon phases and used a farmers almanac, my mother just kept an eye on the moon phases and its path across the zodiac with astrology newsletters, and I loosely adhere to moon phases, moon sign days and some planetary aspects using various witches calendars and almanacs. Being something I grew up with it seams to be second nature, but at the same time that doesn't mean I skip a good sale on plant just because the moon is waning while in Leo. Thank you Dusty for another souce of info, I was somewaht surprised to find a forum on gardening by the moon, but very pleased to see that my family is not alone in its weirdness:)

good to see those "pruning" dates... i have a bit of that to do this month... errr, in Aug.
I am so happy that I weeded my flower beds today....I didn't see this but I will try to stick close to it from now on. Jo
