Absolutely gorgeous flowers and great shots! (no matter how you spell her name -Comtesse de Bouchaud). Its my favourite clematis, for its colour and for the texture of the petals. And I just love your mother's arbour too.

Dawn, I just noticed this thread. Beautiful clematis. The setting in your first picture is so gorgeous. Not only do I love the structure that the vine is growing on, but the whole setting is positively stunning! That looks like a birch tree in the background. Thanks for posting these lovely photos!
