np it is an annual here for me as well but i still love to plant it and start it from seeds in spring

Pawling, NY(Zone 5b)

Glamourpuss.. I'm in zone 5 too but I think I'm gonna grow that as an annual. It'd be cool plant to have..

BTW Moretz, I'd like some seeds if you don't mind.. I have mostly edible seeds that I never got around to listing.. Like I bought a packet of CA wildflower seeds that I can share with if you're interested.. I also have some colombine seeds (accidentally bought more after I traded for some) if you more insterested in that one..

U.P., MI(Zone 5a)

O.K. I guess I'd like to try some if I may. Please see my post at the beginning or I have some orange coneflower seeds to trade.

Thanks,Sue

i would be interested in your CA wildflower seeds ,do you know what flowers are in the mix?

my addy is in the exchange,
thxs

Pawling, NY(Zone 5b)

Moretz, not sure if it says but I can check when I get home next weekend... Do you still want to trade or you want to see if it's listed?

hickory, NC(Zone 7a)

i would like to know which ones is in it that way i know how to germinate them and what kinda sun, soil etc. that they need lol
what color is your columbine?

Pawling, NY(Zone 5b)

Moretz, the colombine seeds are also mixed.. I tend to get mixed colors usually not necessarily mixed flowers though..

As for the CA wildflowers, I remember the packet as saying to mix with sand since the seeds are small and direct sow. The plants are suppose to self-sow after that each year..

hickory, NC(Zone 7a)

sounds good on the wildflower seeds thxs

Pawling, NY(Zone 5b)

Sorry Moretz, I'm a bit dense. Does that mean you want to trade for the CA wildflower mix??

Carmel, NY(Zone 6b)

I know this is the wrong place for this, but I had to show you what I found when I got home from work today! (With 10 more buds on the vines! I thought I'd missed the first one, but it was the bud, not the spent flower. I leaving town for a few days in the morning. So glad I got to see this baby!!!)

Hey Sequee, I'm just north of you in Pawling. It looks like a passion fruit flower (Passiflora). I though those don't survive up this far north..

Carmel, NY(Zone 6b)

It's in a pot, so it comes inside each fall and goes back out every spring. I tuck the pot behind the hostas and it grows up the corner of the wishing well. (2 other corners have morning glories, and the last one is snail vine, which also comes in each fall.)

Pawling's a great little town!

Pawling, NY(Zone 5b)

Sequee.. Thanks.. I prefer Carmel though.. Or maybe it's just that the development I live in is full of nosy busybodies.. j/k
I also do that with my banana and my miracle berry plant. Although my banana is having problems.. It sent out two pups but momma's not growing now.. I'm worried, but at least I have the pups to replace here.. :(

yes the wildflower seeds is what i would like thxs

Pawling, NY(Zone 5b)

Moretz, np. Will do. I'll mail them out when I get home next Friday.

Carmel, NY(Zone 6b)

And where exactly are you???

Pawling, NY(Zone 5b)

Sequee, I assume you're referring to me.. I'm at Baxter Green Development. If you know where the Pawling train station is, our development is like a couple blocks past that off a road called Dykeman.. All new construction back here.. Builder was a nightmare.. I was was just told 1/2 hour ago that the builder screwed up on the staircase off the back deck, not up to code and safety standards.. Advised to not use it until fixed.. **sigh** The problems are never ending here.

Carmel, NY(Zone 6b)

Icky-poo!

All I know about Pawling is that the little market is awesome! The yarn store is very cool. I do all of my auto registration (personal and professiona) at your DMV, and my boss is involved with The Angler's Den.

BUT - I do have a very cool lake!

Pawling, NY(Zone 5b)

lol... Yeah.. the town's a bit small when our mayor's our resident plumber too.. I tell everyone that the major plumbed our home.. :) We travel so much that I haven't even been to the market and yarn store. Although come Sept, we should have a breather.. I think my hubbie (also my boss at work) is going to phase out my position at that point..

And we're suppose to have a lake too. I just haven't figured out where it is.. Supposed to be able to boat and swim there..

East Moriches, NY

I also would love to try some.
I have some Salvia Divinorum growing but wont have seeds until fall.
Have some Nelly Moser Clemetis, Valerian seeds, Calendula officianalis, pink Morning Glory and Dill. Will have some seeds for Bee Balm (red) as soon as the flowerhead dies and I can harvest the seed.

hickory, NC(Zone 7a)

do you have a pic of the Salvia Divinorum ? plmk and thxs

Deer Park, TX(Zone 9a)

Looks like you got a lot of answers.
If you still have some, I too would like some.
I am just learning all this seed collecting "stuff".
What can I do for you?
Those are really neat eye balls.

hickory, NC(Zone 7a)

what do you have for trade? plmk and thxs
im getting more seeds everyday so if anyone is interested plmk what you have to offer and thxs

East Moriches, NY

I have a pic from when I first got it, but its much bigger now. These are two plants that I got from two different vendors arrived on the same day...the sick looking one was shipped overnight after the first one he sent me priority died...the healthy looking one took three days to ship and was just packed better. I sent him this pic to show the difference. That was about a month ago. I will take a pic in the morning and post it.
