PLEASE HELP!

CLOSED...BRUTUS IS RECOVERING NICELY!!!

I have posted about Brutus many times here on DG. He just came in at about 8:00 (just dark) and was squinting. I thought it was because he had been sleeping somewhere, and was just awakening. It's now 12:30 and he's acting funny. He is almost "snotting" like my daughter's pug does, he gives his head a shake every once in a while, and his mouth looks funny....like he's holding it open just a bit. When he swallows, it seems like he has trouble.

My neighbor who lives above me on the hill sprayed his crape myrtles today for mites, or so he said. I was outside cleaning windows for about 10 minutes and remember asking him whether I should go inside and he said no. I stopped and came in anyway.

Does anyone think Brutus might have been exposed to this chemical and it's making him sick? He's definitely acting differently...keeping is distance from me when he's usually on my chest for some heavy scratching. He's also just "crouching"...not lying full out/ sprawled as usual.

Anyone? Could he have been bitten by a rabid animal? I'm at a loss...
