Boy Pizonne. you sure have nice hibiscus!! What zone are you in? Do they get huge where you are? I have seen pictures of where people have these as huge bushes in their front yards. Here people have huge bushes of hibiscus, but not these fancy ones. I am not sure what the difference is. They are all rosa-sinensis.

Here is another of my favorites that I had last year. I love it.

I don't know the name of this (pretty is already taken, lol) but though I like all of mine, this one always blooms dependably and looks so clean and neat.

Hi Kell,
I am in southeast texas and have some blooms as large as 10" to 11". I am borderline Zone 8 and 9. I keep all of my exotics in pots but It takes alot of work. I see you have beautiful blooms also. Keep up the good work and enjoy!!!

Oh Karen, you can post all the photos you want. Decorate this thread!! The more the prettier. LOL Black Dragon is so dramatic. I love it.

AuntAnne, yours looks like a mini. How sweet!!

Cat, I have Etouffee too. Yours is so pretty. Mine is a standard that I got from David. It so needs to be moved to more shade and a bigger pot. It is so far back in my bank of plants that need to be planted, that I can't reach it. And I am so slow getting thru the pile. Maybe today I will wade in with determination after seeing how pretty yours is.

Anyone want to share what mix they use in planting these up? What do you think works best?

Robert, do you have GH for winter care? I am about to plant one of mine in the ground and see how it fares in the winter.

Well thank you David. It is so pretty and tolerant of anything that life throws at it. It's pouring down rain (again!!!!) out there and there are 3 or 4 blooms on it. It's just happy as can be. It makes me smile when I see it, and on a day like this I need all the smiles I can get. lol
