Anybody in/near northern KY need a goat? There are two others listed, too.

KyWoods, thanks for the link. Am looking to get more goats. Robin

Oh, Robin, that would be wonderful if you can give one or more of these babies a good home!

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

I wish I had my good fences already. We'd love to have some goats! Boo hooo!!

I always thought it would be fun to have a goat farm and make and sell goat cheese--it's supposed to be really healthy for you, and I like the taste. Alas, I have no place for them.

Edit: Oh, goodness, I had no idea there were so many that need homes! Here's a link with more--the first three are from a rescuer I know in northern KY:

Didn't really want to go very far for one or two. But that web site did not work for me . possibly they may congested. Was going to look for curiosity. I do have about 145' x100' area in back that I am slowly cleaning up. But I do have a source for a Nubian/ Bore cross,
as well as straight Bore. Think I might lean toward the N/B cross. Might get the best of milk, and meat goat. :) Wouldn't get many vacations then!

LOL, no, critters always need trustworthy babysitters--not a lot of people can babysit farm animals.

Yup inexperienced need not apply LOL
Tried the site again and got through. but they were asking for more info than I was willing to give. I just backed out. I have a source up here any way.
Well I created some work for when it gets later in the evening.
Between last nights picking and this morning in my other garden, Ive come up with between 1/2 and 3/4 of a 5 gal bucket of cukes. Just a wee bit more than you want to use just for slicers. So my job tonight will be to warm up the kitchen. Will first try close off the rest of the house.
I promised Barb I would make this batch into Dill Pickles. Next batch is mine. Bread and butter. lol

Yummy!

Yep, it's best if you can get animals as close to you as possible. Rescues do tend to be extremely picky about who their animals go to since so many have been abandoned or abused. Good luck in your goat hunt!
