I was sittign out by the door of my hoop house yesterday doing some transplanting when I heard the familiar buzz of my hummingbird go zipping by me. I just continued on with my work and a few minute s later I heard the soudn of something hittign it's wings on the inside roof of the hoop house.

Now this house all but emptie dout of a few plants cuz the heat gets way over 110F durign the day and that just at my height level. So up I get to go in to se e what was might be trapped to release it. The sides re up and the back and front door open so there plenty of outs but for reason things liek to fly up.

I went inside and started looking around. I couldn't belive what I was seeing. It was like a meeting of the benefical heads in there. There wa s the hummer zipping around grabbign a drink off a salvia plant I hadn't gotten out yet. Too fast to photgraph. A big fat toad that I almost stepped on who did a nos e dive under a pallet where a big ole spider wa s also residing. Not brave enough to mov e pallet to take pic.

But here some pic s of the guests that I was able to capture. One a very special guest and my first tiem able to capture a pic of even though it rough looking thanks to some advic e from folks here.

Her e ya go other dignitaries in attendance.

First up mr. Lizard and not to happy to be being carded.

Ya kinda fun to see them all gathered together. Make s ya wonder if they discussing us humans and our gardens and whether or not we supplying enough food for them.

I can just hear Mr. Toad saying... " And would ya belive that crazy lady didn't water today and now my mud puddle dire d up." or my hummingbirds replying... " Ya the crazy human, just had to go and move my feedling plants to a shadier location and now I have to get a new flight plan and clearanc e from the air tower."

I tell ya with soem of the looks on their face s when ya come up on them it really make s ya wonde r what they thinking.

As I se e my lizards out and about I know they have to think I crazy as I stand there and talk to them. it's time s like that ya wish ya could be a Dr. Dolittle even for a fe w hours. LOL
