I think it is a moth. Check this site. http://ukmoths.org.uk/keywordsearch.php?keyword1=green
It kinda looks like the Common Emerald to me. : ) Also, this site has a picture of one.

Mark,
No, I didn't see anything good.lol I just like staying up late when it's quiet. Bad habit. : )

I don''t know what the other is. Some kind of damsel fly? I like it's colors, and long slim body.

Your Crocosmias are all beautiful. I love that orange one. : ) I don't have any Crocosmias. : ( I need to locate some tho. Those are my kind of flowers. Any hints on a good place to buy some bulbs? I don't think I have seen them around here, or maybe I didn't look in the right place.

Have a wonderful day. ~Lucy

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh nooooooooooo, I can't stay up late like that, i get to bed early and get up early........... I am often in the garden at 5.30am!!

Yes, i thought it may be a Damsel Fly, but am not sure........... maybe when the others wake up on here they may tell me what it is.

Have a look at my website Lucy, there are a few places in USA that mail order them.........
