Orange Balsam Thyme - wonderful scent

Denver, CO(Zone 6a)

I have to say my favorite thyme is orange balsam thyme which has a spicy/fruity scent. It is not the same as Orange Spice (which isn't as strong as the balsam). My second favorite is Lemon thyme.

Any other's that are your favorite?

My favourite is lemon thyme - I use it a lot in cooking too. I don't know the orange balsam one though. That sounds great.
I'm very fond of Silver Posy too. That looks so lovely when it makes new growth after a trim and smells delicious.

Thanks for the link.. I was in Lowe's/Depot yesterday and Silver Queen Thyme just jumped right in my buggy.. chuckle.. and today at Walmart,, some geraniums and flat-leaf parsley did the same.

Mobi

Did you grow the orange balsam thyme from seed and if so, where did you find it?

Dublin, CA(Zone 9a)

If you go up a couple posts, Mobi said the plants came from Bluestone.

Thymes are wonderful. I love Rose Petal thyme too - smells more of rose-scented geraniums rather than a true rose, but heavenly. And Thymus herba-barona is a nice earthy thyme.
