I cannot believe I just did this....

but, I have a grafted cutting that seemed to have been doing well -- it was developing leaves and was looking happy. Notice I say "was." I was just now rearranging my plants on my patio, and somehow, knocked off all but one of the leaves on my rooted cutting. It started "milking" right away. :( Will these leaves grow back, or will they develop somewhere else? Is there anything I should do and has this hurt my rooted cutting? I truly hope not. Oh how silly am I today!!

Felicia, don't worry -- no harm done. More leaves will grow in as your plumie grows. The sap bleeding will stop. Sometimes, I pull off leaves just to show off the flowers more or to let the light in more. Your plumie will be just fine.

sigh, whew, thank you, Clare. I feel much better now, and guess that I won't have to stick to just Brugmansias!! :)
I definitely jumped into Plumerias with both feet and both eyes closed, that's for sure!! It all started when I won 9 seeds. 7 of those are growing, one disappeared (squirrel?) and one has yet to root. Then, of course, I had to buy 3 rooted grafted cuttings, and the rest is history....

Felicia, I think you will find that plumerias are less work than brugmansias, but I love both too. Your little seedlings look great! There is a lot of information here in the Sticky Thread to help you and lots of people to ask here if you ever have a question. Here's my article as well if you are interested: http://davesgarden.com/articles/view/45/ It looks like you are well on your way to creating a nice plumie collection!
